Arlyn Valencia, MD

Arlyn Valencia, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and pain management specialist at Las Vegas Spine & Pain Center, providing high-quality neurology and interventional pain management to adults at three locations in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

Dr. Valencia brings extensive experience in neurocritical care and advanced headache management to the practice. She’s highly respected in the field, and patients from all over Clark County regularly seek her expertise.

After earning her medical degree, Dr. Valencia completed a residency and fellowship in stroke and neurorehabilitation at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Then, she completed an internal medicine internship at New York Medical College’s Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan. 

Before joining the team at Las Vegas Spine & Pain Center, Dr. Valencia served as an associate professor of neurology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) in Reno. She also held the title of Medical Clerkship Director for Neurology and was responsible for teaching medical, psychiatry, and family medicine residents at hospitals throughout the state.

As a neurology expert, Dr. Valencia served as the Stroke Director of Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. In that position, the facility received the Gold Plus standard in stroke care, a national award.
